Instagram’s own messaging app ‘Direct from Instagram’ is being blocked. The app will be closed within the next few months.
The service is stopped before the users of all over the world have not reached the messaging app yet.
Social media analyst Matt Navara has published a message screenshot from Instagram on his Twitter account. Writing there, we stop the direct message support.
However, the old messages will be automatically delivered to the main app of Instagram. So you do not have to do anything. But it is not known why the app is closed.
The app was first unveiled in December 2017. In the first case, there was a similar match with Snapchat.
The biggest advantage of the app is that by opening the camera, adding photos to it can be sent to friends.
