Dhaka Metro Rail Experimental Run Took Place on Friday

The train ran from Uttara’s Diabari Depot to Mirpur Pallabi Station at 10:00 am. The speed was kept exceptionally low.

The Uttara-Agargaon phase of the fast-track project made 88.18 percent total progress until July 31, while the Agargaon-Motijheel phase made 66.74 percent. The overall project progressed at a rate of 68.49 percent.

According to DMTCL sources, 144 coaches will transport passengers on the Uttara-Motijheel route, with four trains having already arrived in the nation from Japan. In the second week of September, the fifth set is expected to arrive.

Passengers will not be allowed onboard the Metro Rail coach, according to Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited sources, because it is currently being operated on an trial basis.
